Northern Exposure
The PBA, the PLA and RCIS have joined forces to provide a training and networking event in Leeds for barristers, solicitors and surveyors. The event will include a series of talks featuring expert speakers from the Northern Bar, solicitors firms and surveyors. After the talks there will be food, drink and networking and the nearby Botanist bar.
- 2.45pm Registration and refreshments at Holy Trinity Church, Boar Lane, Leeds;
- 3.00pm Paul Lakin and Brynmor Adams, Exchange Chambers, on terminal dilapidations;
- 3.40pm Nigel Clayton and Richard Lander, Kings Chambers, on boundaries;
- 4.20pm Panel discussion: “Expert Evidence – Avoiding Judicial Criticism”;
- 5.00pm Networking, drinks and light bites at The Botanist, Boar Lane, Leeds.
The panel will feature: Her Honour Judge Kelly, Leeds BPC; Guy Jackson, Overford; Lisa Stratford, Clarion; and Seth Kitson, Trinity Chambers.
Booking
Open to PBA members, PLA members and members of RICS. Tickets cost £38 per person (includes food and at least one drink). PBA members can book their place on the PLA website.
